Maybe this isn’t Antiwork but I’m a bit shocked. She offered me a position that starts before my jobs end date. I told her sorry this is the only date I can start on because I have promised my other job. I don’t like breaking promises especially since I just got this contract after months and years of nothing. This recruiter just emailed me saying “can’t you just put in a 2 week notice”?
First of all there is only an interview and no guarantee of a job. Secondly I told her in advance that I couldn’t start until that last date passed. Never been told so straightforward something like this before.
