So I’m a server and I work weekdays 9-3. The restaurant doesn’t open until 11 so from 9-11 I am doing prep. I am told to clock in as a server the entire time. It feels illegal that I’m being paid $3 an hr and not even able to take tables. Is it ? And what can I do to my employer ?
