My husband is agoraphobiac and if it were up to me I'd never ask him to work another day in his life, but in the world we live in we've learned that this is not a viable life.
I see people talking about WFH for awhile now and we've searched for work like that, but most of the postings are scams or require degrees (which he doesn't have)
We got him set up with a employment specialist through a local hospital and the call today wasn't super encouraging… she basically said she's at a standstill after putting in a small handful of applications and told him even though he doesn't prefer it he might need to think about what he could do outside the house…
The problem is its not preference, we both know that holding an outside job isn't possible, and even WFH is sketchy due to his panic attacks and anxiety.
They also started the process to get him into vocational rehab, but it's been 6 weeks since that meeting in which they said the process was “rapid”
I just don't know what to do anymore, can anyone give me some advice on how to find WFH jobs?
