I'm planning to take masters degree anytime soon, hopefully this March I hope to be enrolled.
I have applied to two jobs. One is ABC company, and one is XYZ company. Both are great in nature, but I have a little problem about them.
You see, I'm planning out to study full time masters degree and their time and schedule is at 6-9PM (depending on how many subjects I will take) for weekdays.
The initial plan is to work PART TIME, to not burn myself out.
However, I have messed up and applied FULL TIME on ABC company and XYZ company.
Let me tell you about the pros and cons:
ABC Company
Pros
– will have me trained
– internationally based
– the work is only at 7-4PM everyday (FULL TIME)
– work from home
– dayshift
Cons
– the salary for starting like me is at $286-287 EVERY MONTH
– no national holidays for me since it's not a job within my country but rather overseas
– if i have to take this job, i'll have a 2-hour breaks in between before my classes starts.
– doesn't allow PART TIME
Now, for XYZ company
Pros
– will have me trained too
– work from home
– local based so my time will be 9-6PM
– higher salary than ABC as starting salary
– since it's from my home country, it's more likely that their holiday is my home country based.
Cons
– HR is scary and kind of brash and rude
– no time for me to take breaks because 9-6PM office time | 6-9PM school time
– doesn't allow PART TIME too
In conclusion, I want to back out from these job offers but yet I want to join them. What do you guys think?
