I see so many Republicans online saying that fair wages or Healthcare for all will lead to communism. They've been so brainwashed by politicians. It's so ridiculous.
Even though I like this sub a lot, I am a capitalist (when it comes to America). I think socialism seems to work better in smaller, more united countriee. I believe in fair wages, Healthcare for all, human rights, etc. Clearly Late Stage Capitalism is destroying America. But I feel like just like how there's a line between Socialism and Full Blown Communism, there needs to be limits on Capitalism. Clearly Capitalism without limits does not work.
I just wish more in America we'd look to find the middle ground with each other because each side fighting for their extreme isn't going to get us anywhere. I wish Democrats and Republicans were just willing to compromise. The two party system is fucked. I don't know if it's possible for America to become a socialist state at this point when we're already struggling with Basic reform
