He didn’t show up the last couple days because he was sick. Today he apparently no call no showed.
They told him he can come in tomorrow, but has to go to the office after work (after he’s clocked out, because he gets clocked out automatically after his shift) and get “written up”.
I’m pissed for him and I don’t think anyone should stay a minute after they clock out. I’ve had coworkers stay and do more work after clocking out (in a minimum wage job too) which I think is insane.
Does this sound legal? Honestly part of the reason he called out is because his mental health is getting way worse because of his job, and I keep begging him to apply to a new one.
