My employer didn't want me to go to the bathroom because the line was busy, (I work at a warehouse) so I said ok, but I have to go now. He says he doesn't understand and “why do I have to go while we're working.” It made me feel like when you'd get back from lunch in school and have to go and the teachers say, “well you should have gone at lunch.” Gave me that kind of vibe I guess.
Anyways, I told him that I'm going and I'll be back soon, and that maybe someone on the slower end can help for 5 mins. He said ok, literally just ok, with a sigh.
I don't want to leave my coworkers stranded, but also, I had to think of myself too. So I left! I came back and much to my surprise, THE LINE WAS STILL FINE! No one even had to move. That at least made me feel better that my coworkers didn't have to push any harder than what the already do, they're pretty chill honestly, but what would you have done?
