3 of us just watched a krispy creme employee breakdown….

I got two doordash orders for krispy creme. Pulled up. The doors were locked. A woman in the car next to me yelled that the doors have been locked since she got there 20 minutes ago. She was also waiting on a doordash order after having to cancel the first two. The drive thru line was out to the street. We could see there was only a single employee inside and she in tears running around frantically with several feet worth of order receipts. After about 10 minutes we finally got her to come to the door. She broke down sobbing saying she couldn’t get anyone else to come in and that it would be at least an hour for our orders. The other dasher gave her a hug and we all just stood there like wow. If I were her I would have walked out at that point. Not…

To make matters worse, doordash not only didn’t pay me even partial for any of the deliver fees but also dinged my rating even after I spoke with them AND the other dasher had already spoke. To them. They admitted they were unable to contact the merchant as well and their only consolation to me was a “you’ll bounce back. You’re a good dasher”.
