My job is making me want off myself

I work at an incoming call center for MassMutual. I assist financial advisors and their assistants with home office stuff. This job is slowly making me want to end it all. I’ve never been so depressed at a job before. The amount of verbal abuse I get from these financial advisers is insane. The lack of support/help from my department is laughable. This job pays very well, and it’s the highest paying job I’ve ever had. This is the only think keeping me here, but I’m wondering if it’s worth it. I keep getting to a dark space in my head, and I loathe every single second I’m at work. Every second is micromanaged and our performance valuation is based on it. If you over a minute in your lunch break, you’ll get an email from the manager. It’s not fun.

Our performance is publicly shared with your team, so if you’re doing bad, EVERYONE knows. If you get a low QA score, you’re coworkers know.

The turnover rate is high; therefore, the call volume is even higher and never ends. You’re expected to follow up on cases and emails request from reps without having any time to do so.

I can go on about this job, but what’s the point?
