How many of your boomer parents have made life even harder for you regarding money advice or opportunities?

I’m a 32 year old licensed realtor, newly licensed but with 2 deals under my belt as well as a very experienced mentor (so I have plenty of guidance.) I’m also applying for a content writing position regarding real estate, so tonight I’m writing a sample piece on selling your house. I still live under the poverty line and spent my 20s also poor and my later 20s in a desperate state of not having money. My mother wants to sell her house, she told me she wants to sell it herself. Her “lawyer will help her.” Or she’s going to use another realtor. Give that commission to another realtor, another family. It’s not reasonable. She spent my whole 20s being unreasonable every which way financially. She has no idea about the world and I am trying not to despair.
