I have been in my current job for 8 years, and I'm just done. For the last couple of months, I have been looking for claims positions in the insurance industry, and have read many listings for “entry-level” positions that require 3-5 years experience. Who writes these things?! I've even been rejected for “not meeting the requirements” for the position, so it seems they are sticking to what they post.
