Getting asked when Im going back to teaching

I work as a fine dining waiter lunch and dinner Friday and Saturday in a small restaurant where the chef is the owner, so I keep all my tips. I make about 200-600 per day in tips. Essentially making as much as I did as a preschool teacher (8 years) but instead of 45 hour work week I’m working about 18-24 hours a week. People keep asking when I’m going back to teaching and my mental health has improved immensely not working as often. I am investing in art projects, community building, volunteering etc. My parents are really upset I left teaching for a food service job, and IDK what to tell them. I know I dont have health insurance, retirement or a 401k without a regular job. But this break is so nice. I need to go back eventually for those things. What would you say? Would you go…

What would you say? Would you go back to a regular job for the perks of health insurance etc?
