I applied for a job in AdTech. Got an email asking me to fill out a survey within 72hrs. No guarantee it would be seen by a human btw. It was 100 questions about my personality type, how I handled homework, group projects, and more. I did not complete that and will not pursue a job there.

To add more context, I’ve worked in my industry for 15 years. I’m applying for VP level roles. How I handled homework and group projects has nothing to do with my qualifications. I understand why someone would make that connection, but come on. If that’s how they treat people who are applying, I can only imagine the level of micro-management once you’re hired.
