Boss thinks I’m a super work horse on call

So I started working for a moving company as a means to supplement income for my “main job” which was at a grocery store. Eventually I wound up leaving the grocery store to feel more comfortable with working in the pandemic as the moving job had minimal contact with customers. Was not my first choice but took what I had and was even being paid more than the grocery store and given a dollar raise after about 9 months with the company. Fast forward a year to now over 2 years of employment and I still can’t get my boss to tell me when there’s work more than a day in advance. He will often just send out a group text to me and my coworkers saying “work tomorrow @ [time]“ with no further details even after requesting for them sometimes. The work will be far from consistent. Might work 5 days one week, then might not work at all for a week because he’s on vacation etc. Of course there are times when I’m not available because of him just popping up while I attempt to have a life, but that usually ends in him trying to interrogate me for reasons why I can’t come to work, that I just found out about, and even going so far as to try and persuade me to come with messages on how it’ll be harder on my coworkers without me there and a bunch of other things that could be avoided with an adequate notice for work. He will have a job scheduled for months and won’t tell us until the day before. I’ve only stayed because it was meant to be temporary, the tips make the work bearable, and quite honestly finding another job is harder than it’s ever been for me. Now I’m 2 years into employment at a small business that is only ever consistently going downhill with Outrages work hours as some shifts can last 12hrs+, lack of resources as my cheap boss expects us to just make it work, and I haven’t received any further raises or anything to show that I’ve stuck through the bs (very unfortunately) as his longest lasting employee
