Sitting here during my break looking out the window and seeing the complete disaster of a snow storm that’s falling down outside (10 inches of snow) thinking about all the people that are going to be forced to drive to and from work in it then thinking about all the people that have died trying to make it to work because it was either come into work or get written up and potentially lose your job. If that’s the case, I think it should be the employers responsibility to pay for the funeral of the people that risked their lives coming into work in these conditions and not making it, it’s only fair since I already told you I don’t feel comfortable driving yet you’re forcing me to come in. I hate thinking that people die for these companies just for the companies to say “oh well sorry 🤷️ good thing your replacement is here on Monday” and life just…continues.
