Hey guys I work for a well known car manufacturer in a sales role , 5 days a week. We get 1 rdo during the week and we work every Saturday (no weekend rates) . Hours are 8:30am – 6pm which adds up to 47.5 hours. That’s not really the issues for me though. My main concerns are that we get paid for 38 of those hours and we are minimum wage, their excuse is that we make more than enough through “commissions” which covers it apparently. This feels extremely unfair and dodgy to me. Ever since I found about this my whole motivation and ambitions for this work has gone to zero I feel very ripped off. All of those hours plus commute really makes me exhausted and I hardly have any time to myself at home.
Can someone please suggest something
