My future employer wants to train me for what seems like 2 full days before he can start paying me. Is this legal? Can someone point me towards a legal document saying otherwise ? The work will include driving a large dump truck ( CDL B ) so I understand how safety is a priority, but I want to know if I am obligated to get paid for my time.
