I don't have a regular work arrangement and it's mostly worked out.
Two years ago the boss came across a bunch of vintage hats and he gave me one with the city's mascot on it knowing that I would appreciate it.
Today I wore it to work and my boss gave that hat to a customer because the customer liked it. They kinda forced my consent but they could tell I wasn't wanting to part with it, but they justified it by saying they gave it to me & that it will bring in more business.
Of all the difficulties I've faced at work, this seems like the biggest violation.
