How to get a job that can be automated and removes the need for working?

I'm looking for job situations that are remote and don't require more than an hour or less of hands on time every day, or preferably only every week. I keep seeing stories of tech savvy people getting a repetitive job and automating it with one or two programs and not really doing any hands on work afterwards besides a quick quality control check each day, or people getting a job and hiring it out to someone in a lower cost of living area to do for them. But how would someone go about actually doing this in real life? 1.)I can't quite figure out how people find jobs to use like this though; 2.)and secondly how you would go about either paying someone to make the automation program for you OR paying someone to just do the job for you. Because of disability it can't be an in person do nothing job like a fire watch person or night guard or standby server babysitter or something, it has to be something that can be done remotely.

I know I'm a bad person asking about this, but I just can't make enough money on disability support and I am physically/mentally not able to do a full time office type job. I'd rather sign up for a job and be dishonest about how it gets done, rather than get a normal job and just not be able to get it done normally.
