I live in California and work at this Cafe place inside a hotel. Doesn't pay that much, strictly 5-6 hours and coworkers are greedy over 25-30 dollars in tips. It seems they had so many other employees before me.
Anyways the supervisor and my coworker are close and I feel there is a strong bias. She told me she wasn't pleased how she didn't make as much money as before with adding one more person. She acts all friendly but still.
The supervisor acts all dumb, like he obviously doesn't trust me and will call me even if I am 10 mins late but won't have an issue if the other employee won't show up or she is on her phone, etc. Yesterday the other employee didn't come and today the supervisor complained to me that I didn't finish x task yesterday and the floor had some coffee stains because apparently the PM shift took pics.
He also said we gotta have a meeting all of us next week. I feel quite overwhelmed by a job that pays me pennies, have to deal with bias and letting me work alone with a long line expecting me to do 3 things at once.
