TLDR: my shitty ass lazy as coworker left 2 hours early from her 6 hour shift and all hell broke loose in the group chat.
For context I work at subway and we got this new coworker a couple months ago.
Shes been to almost every subway in my town because she’s had problems with every single one.
We tried giving her a chance but for months she has refused to help us and do her job and be decent to anyone even customers.
She cares more about tips than doing her job at all.
There’s 2 people on morning crew and she’s a mid shift almost every day (it’s one of the easiest shifts 12-6) she’s only ever closed once.
Yet she complains the whole shift about being tired, wanting to go home and how she wants it to be 6 already.
She leaves without asking if we need anything, or doing dishes or helping us out at all.
Yesterday she left 2 hours early without doing anything to help us at all and it was the breaking point for us.
My manager favors her and let’s her get away with everything so now we are frustrated and scared thinking we will be punished.
I know what we did wasn’t the most professional but I think not doing your job, yelling at customers, and leaving 2 hours early is unprofessional too.
I’m very frustrated. She gets away with everything, another coworker was fired for going home 2 hours early and he was actually throwing up.
She left early because she was upset and didn’t want to work.
