I always research salaries on Glassdoor and other sites before going into an interview but this job I'm interviewing for is a contract/temporary position.
The company has salary listings for the same job but for salaried employees, but obviously they are for a year-round job with benefits. How do people know what's a fair rate to ask for a contract job based on what that same job pays as a salary?
Do I ask for the same amount but broken down as an hourly rate? Do I ask for more per hour since I don't get benefits? Less per hour since I won't be there as long?
I want to make sure I'm going into this well-informed!
