Excuse my Tarzan’s English, but it’s not my first language.
Well, I was pretty desperate to find a job and I ended up with a former boss who offered me a position at his company.
The catch was that the position meant working at the career I studied at uni and at the same time, at his dinner. But he didn’t tell me that it will be washing the dishes and getting the tables done! I though it will be a more strategic position (silly me).
I’m paying for my college loans and serving food to people two times a week, working at the office five (the days I’m in the dinner I have to work at both places). And don’t get me wrong, it’s not terrible to work at a dinner. It’s a fine job. But now I have two, and get paid for one.
And I’m not working on what I’ve studied (what I like, actually). But paying for it and it sucks.
I’m getting pretty depressed in the look for another job. I’m pretty underprepared apparently. And my current job isn’t that well paid, so it’s not like a can study something new.
So I’m here just to vent. I’ve been coming to read to this reddit for a long time and I guess this time I needed some feedback to pass this on.
Thank you
