Just sharing a positive experience for once.
I just recently quit my job at a German IT company after I received a much better offer at another company. Per contract with a three month notice period for both parties.
Handed everything over within a week. Managers offered me some extra time off and now I am on leave until I start my new job in August. Full pay and all benefits.
Reading a lot of the posts here just baffles me, every single day, I have had some shitty jobs in my life, but working in the US truly sounds like a distopian nightmare. Solidarity to all of you that survive that shit every day!
