I have an interview on Monday for a custodial position within a school district. The pay is $11/hour “non-negotiable.” That's garbage pay, obviously. I asked the guy about raises when I spoke to him on the phone. He said something like 2% raises per year were standard. How do I make these people understand that I need a living wage to work this job??
