I work at Dominos, and have for approximately 4 years.
This new manager, whom I've only ever spoken to twice and had a negative experience showed her true colors today.
The first interaction, I just didn't like her tone. She spoke to me like an animal moments before clocking out and leaving her shift. I have no issues with anyone else. I always come in happy, always complete my side tasks, etc.
Today, I get in and I asked for a bank ($20 or so), and she starts speaking to me in that tone again… as though I am an animal.
This time I directly confront her and I say “hey, you've only spoken to me twice… you don't even know my name. You are not going to speak to me in anything less than a respectful tone”
She starts going off and saying things like, “you're a [insert skin color] bitch!”
I said, “oh so you want to bring race into this? Really?”
She just kept going on and on.
Ultimately I stooped to her level, I did not bring anything up about race, but I did call her several names and called her a racist b*tch.
We both get sent home.
What do I do here? I wanted to wring her neck out, but I didn't threaten her, nor did I assault her.
The racist comments brought it out of me.
To any HR reps, I will DM you the store number if you can help me in this situation.
You can say whatever you want to me, but when you berate an employee for their skin color, that's absolutely out of line.
I recorded segments of the interaction and I am completely willing to drop that shit. I will let this woman ruin her career and image for eternity as it circulates on the internet, but I'm cooler than that.
The outcome I want to see is this woman blacklisted from ever working at Domino's again, and see to it that I maintain my position.
