Just A Really Quick Rant

I don’t owe anything more to my job paying me $8 an hour to run an entire local post office that services every major carrier. I got this job thinking I’d sort mail, now I’m logging financial records, opening and closing the store, monitoring gift shop inventory, coordinating carrier pickups, managing online mail boxes, physical mail boxes, a website, running a uhaul side gig which is against the HOA regulations of my neighborhood in which the local office is located, and doing general store maintenance, cleaning, appliance repair (electrical work mostly because I go to college for it and mentioned it in a casual conversation once which led to a string of increasingly more frequent requests to do things like change lightbulbs, ceiling tiles, fix her air conditioning unit (don’t worry I did not need to purchase any parts it wasn’t a total loss of my talents) and hang her…

I’m quitting tomorrow, f*** a two week notice for $8/hr management/maintenance/accountant slot. Run your own d*** store.

I made her $23,000+ in sales the first month I worked there. 2 times the number of the highest month she’s had in the last 3 years (remember I can see it all since I am the one managing that as well). I got paid less than $500 that month and had pay deducted for messing up 2 shipments while I ran the store alone the second week I was there. I had to pay for them to be reshipped myself, one was international.
