They want busy bees and robots. I had a friend pass away and asked for a remote day to STILL work tomorrow. I was given the run around on how being in office is beneficial to be seen. It sad because it is a job but when it comes to human emotions it “slows down” business. It’s that feeling like asking for time for yourself is a nuisance because it takes away from productivity.
