Hi you guys, this is my first time making a post so sorry if the way I write is not the best. Let me get straight to the point, about 4 weeks ago I had met this guy who helped me get a job at a restaurant in my town, I got an interview with one of the managers and i instantly was hired and was set to start the following week. I payed like 70$ for the uniform cause they don’t provided you with one. So the day I was supposed to start I literally got dressed and was on my way to enter when I got a phone call telling me not to enter anymore because I wasn’t put into the system yet, that they were gonna let me know when I was put in & I should be able to start the following week. I went in the other day to ask what’s going on and was told to email the general manager. Welp, I did just that and woke up to an email a few hours ago stating that I don’t got the job. I’m basically broke and now I have this uniform and I don’t know what to do. Is it legal for them to do that? What can I do, what SHOULD I do?
