So I have chronic sinitis, so I can't breathe when I have these sinus infections and I usually call in one or two days when these happen. I don't usually take vacation at all.
Today i was going to call into work, and I have 70.5 hours of vacation time, option time, option weeks etc. to use as time off.
I got told I'd go on a 9-month probation period if I used any of my option time today…..
I am legitimately about to break down because of this.
I have to gamble my vacation time, and I can't call in no matter what.
What do I do here?
I'm about to just go to work and do nothing, because well, I'm sick.
But I can't keep working for this company much longer. I'm only in this company for school. That's it. They pay 100% of my college tuition.
Any advice?
Just needed to rant a little bit.
