Hi I need some advice on this. If this doesn’t belong here, please help direct me to the right thread.
Back in late January/ mid February my corporate job sent out a “pulse” survey to all employees. They do this at the end of the fiscal year and time it with yearly reviews. It is completely optional to fill out the survey so up until recently (I’ve been with the company for 5years) I never filed it. They are also anonymous but you do have to indicate your department.
This past year has been the year from hell for myself and most of my work friends. So I know that there were a good chunk of not so nice bits of feedback.
It is now end of March and myself and other coworkers at my level (entry level) are being called into a meeting with the department VP and Sr VP. HR will also be present. Now they didn’t tell my boss or their boss. All the entry level workers are freaking out because we don’t know what to expect. We were told to not bring or have anything prepared for this meeting.
What terrifies me is I don’t know how the 2 VP’s will act/ react. I imagine they will take the majority of the time talking at us, and if we misspeak it will be a reason to target us and make life harder.
At this time I’m desperately looking for a new job, so I don’t have the safety to just walk out yet. I’m also worried if 1 person steps out of line it’s a black mark and poor reflection on ALL of us.
Please help, I don’t know what to do.
