some bosses are so entitled. So I just quit a job working at firehouse subs because I got a job working at a retirement home for 18$/hr + benefits. I’m about to graduate high school so I’m looking for jobs that will help me save for college this next year.
So this morning I let everyone know I was leaving and was going to tell my boss when he came in but that wasn’t until 2 pm but ig one of the managers already told him. He came in fuming like a little child and said I need to talk to him in the back. He started yelling at me that I lied on my resume and he never would have hired me in the first place, he hired me on at 13$/hr and wanted to promote me to assistant GM for 16$/hr at a store that does 1m in sales. He said I’m not worth 13$/hr even tho my last job I got paid 18$hr haha. He said I should skip going to college and become the GM of his store and he’s pay me 40k and it can be my career. I told him he’s disrespectful for spreading lies to his employees and he gets what he pays for which is nothing. So he yelled at me that I’m disrespectful and should learn how to work hard even tho he doesn’t pay for it. Some bosses need to learn how to treat others .
