This is a rant!!
I'm so fuckin pissed!!
I have experience in my field and even customize my fuckin' resume to majority of the jobs I applied to. Even putting in their God damn key words from their qualifications section. And I still get rejected. My unemployment insurance ran out this month, and I can't reapply.
FUCK THIS JOB MARKET AND THE WORLD WE LIVE IN TODAY!!!
It's so Goddamn hard to get a job nowadays. If I work retail or fast food, it would be for nothing because the pay is not a livable wage. I have skills. I've worked since I was 16 and have degrees.
It's not that nObOdY wAnTs tO wOrK aNyMoRe.
It's nobody wants to hire anymore!!
They're making it harder to get a job nowadays. First it's you against the fuckin ATS so you always have to fuckin' customize your resume for each job you apply to and it still doesn't work.
You have to be related or know someone that works anywhere to get hired. You can forget about your transferable skills or the fact you are willing to do the job.
Nepotism is the name of the game today when back then (like a little over 10 years ago) nepotism was looked down upon.
I hate it here.
