(Figurative) Masking @ Work

Not sure if this is the place to post this because it’s a privileged and trivial question in the scheme of things and I haven’t been diagnosed with autism (re:masking) but didn’t know what term to use. Does anyone else find great relief with not showing your true thoughts at work? I go, work, listen, answer when necessary, but it’s so relieving to me to give whatever answer the coworker/boss is looking for and move on, leave when the shift is over, and live my real life after work. Is this a thing? Am i just now catching on?
