So my now former boss told us all about a week ago that she wanted all of us to get together for a company dinner. I had no desire to have dinner with my coworkers. There are 8 employees that would be presenr. I don't like any of them so the thought of having to say a couple hours after the 9 hrs I had to be there didn't appeal to me.

Yesterday she informed us all at a staff meeting that this dinner is meant to be a team building thing. That she wants everyone to come with a pad of paper to write down any issues they have with other people or with how things have been run. That there was going to be a talking circle in which everyone would get a turn to say whatever was on the paper abs that as a team things would be worked out.

That sounds like absolute torture to me. It's not the reason I quit. I'm really glad I won't be there for it though because I'm pretty sure I would have been fired
