I work the front desk helping students and I have to provide excellent customer service. I get paid minimum wage. Some things I really have to try and go out of my way to help the student. I’m only following what my job description tells me to do and what the handbook tells me to do. I have other responsibilities that already take up effort. Im supposed to create small talk but that takes too much effort.
