the work is not the problem, it’s the meaningless of it

I remember building a table on a hot summer day. Got splinters, sun burned, a couple of sore fingers but when I was done it was like a shot of dopamine in my brain. With work its nowhere near as physically exhausting, but it feels absolutely meaningless. That's why I can't sleep.
