my previous employer gave me my t4 (a paper you get with total amount you made in a year) and the amount was around 20k cad, he looked at me and said you made lot of money with a smile, at the beginning he offered a full time job and after a while when we don't have anything to do for the rest of the day he comes up to me and say you can go home, used to be the more experienced guy in the company and he always offered the same salary even to the new ppl joining us, I was the one teaching them and stuff. He was always on my neck making me feel unwanted, asking me why I put this paper here, do this first and that and this and telling me if the others don't like it here they can leave.
I left that job a few weeks after that joke he made, joining his competitor/client and he got mad and refused to take any order from my new employer asking the employees to tell my new boss to call him while refusing to answer his calls. (A childish way of saying you gotta fire him so we can have our relationship back)
He used to pay me 17cad/hour but it doesn't mean shit since you can't have 40 hours a week, my new employer whom I used to make his orders at my old job since he always came looking for me as most of the other clients because of the way I handle things, I had that philosophy of me having a good relationship with the clients rather than representing the company.
My new employer gave me 21 cad/hour 40 hours a week + bonuses and doing less what I used to do before.
Now my old employer is trying to get me back asking my old colleagues to lure me back with a salary of 23cad, which I refused, and now he is struggling to fill up my spot
