I work as a waiter at a restaurant but we own the bowling above us too. On weekends there are a trillion birthday party reservations and what not and i was scheduled to help and what not. Bare in mind my shift was supposed to be 6 hours but my boss begged me to stay until closing. Queue 8 birthdays in a roll, some going on at the same time, all of them are 30+ people and I'm almost alone. Even the customers feeling sorry for me and one of the mothers even helped me clean up most of her tables… All i got in return? “You can take a break on Wednesday” where my shift is 4 hours 🙂
