The company doesn’t have funding yet, but we have contracts promising future legal payment and as such we have been recording our hours worked. So far, the company has been pretty up-front about stuff like “hey, we don’t yet have funding, here’s roughly when we expect that to change.” Anyways, what should I look out for for this type of job? What does one do in a worst-case scenario where the company never pays up?
