New word everyone needs to add to their vocabulary! This is my first Reddit post, so forgive me.
The issue some individuals have with “leaving” or “quitting” their job is because of benefits and some type of pay (i.e. unemployment pay/health insurance….)
Without boring all of you with my life as a high school English teacher, I’m contemplating whether I can make it until the end of May at my current school. While, I work in Arizona— each state has a certain laws/requirements what one needs to do in order to quality for “constructive discharge”
Constructive discharge is considered, “as a situation where an employer intentionally creates or knowingly permits such intolerable working conditions for an employee, that the worker reasonably feels no choice but to resign” (Shouselaw.com).
Since I am employed in Arizona, I have written two letters expressing the hostile work environment; now, I have to wait 15 days for the employee to make a change or otherwise I move forward with the following steps!
