Just yesterday we were told that there would be a “hall of fame, and hall of shame”.
I politely stated my case, informing that I thought that “hall of shame” was a terrible idea, and a sure fire way to demotivate people.
I was simply told that a way not to get into the hall of shame was to have good results,thus complety missing the point.
Today I see that we do have a hall of fame and (suprise) a hall of improvement.
So either:
A) a higher representative told management that “hall of shame” is indeed a terrible idea
B) even though I was shotdown for stating my case, my idea was taken into account.
Now, if it was option B, then why shoot down my idea ,?
Maybe because I'm just a peasant and ideas coming from “regular” agents are shot down on instinct.
Idk.
