I work part time in a liquor store and ever since I asked this one regular if he could put on a mask(during a mandate) he fucking hates me. Today he came in after not having to deal with him for a couple weeks and I was in the middle of trying to fix something so I was especially caught off guard.
He comes in and is facing the opposite direction as he berates me and laughs about me asking him to put on a mask. Calling me “mask girl” and stupid and such. Meanwhile there's another customer waiting and idk what to do so I tried to ignore him and just get his order but I'm all flustered.
The entire time I'm feeling humiliated and I know I should just tell him to turn around and talk to me, the human he's making his enemy but my anxiety is like a huge wall I need to scale in a matter of seconds to say something in time.
I'm going to try my hardest to be ready to tell him to fuck off next time bc luckily I can chose not to serve abusive assholes.
