Over the past few months, I’ve been reading a lot of posts on here about horrible bosses, job hopping, etc and I wanted the community’s opinion on pensions.
If a company or organization is willing to pay a pension after 10/15/20/25 years, is that reason enough to stay there until you retire?
There aren’t very many businesses that still pay pensions. Here in Ontario, I only know of a few, and the bulk of them are government. This leads to another question, why don’t companies still pay pensions? Do they not realize that this is incentive for an employee to stay with their organization?
Thanks!
