Scored myself a higher paying job recently and have been smashing the hours. Today, tax man has taken the equivalent of 85 hours of my time in wages. Feeling robbed

Feels like I’ve been cheated as I’ve been doing 65 hour weeks on average, working my arse off to try and dig myself out of financial doom. 85 hours of work and for what? Feeling fed up with all this. I work extremely hard and to see so much of my efforts be taken from me is soul crushing while big business is getting away with legal thievery
