I am sick of working fast. I work in the systems department at a company. You know how when everything is working, no one bugs you, but when something is wrong, they are telling you to fix it as fast as possible. I have about 4 years of experience and I can solve majority of the problems way quicker than other people. This is good becuase my users can be happy but bad becuase everyone thinks I don't do shit. I could take longer solving problems, but workers would be mad I take long, so I finish things quickly and get called overpaid for doing nothing, what the fuck do people want from me????
This morning I fixed 5 problems in about 3 hours. This would have taken someone else at least 8.
There's one programming problem that's taken me a week and I finally came up with a solution, but this requieres a lot of manual set up, I asked a co worker for help and they replied with
“hahah good one, it's not like you do anything, time is what you have.”
It's so fucking annoying
