I have worked for a national pharmaceutical company in the U.S. since 2015. During that time I have been been promoted or moved to the positions of shift lead (management) and Inventory Specialist (not management but Mon- Friday day shift!!!) as need required, I would alternate between positions. I was the #1 rated shift lead in my district last year. I have been training people who (off the street) make $3/hr more than I do. Everyone (including District and Regional Managers) told me to quit, wait 30 days and reapply at the higher rate, they couldn't just give me a pay raise. I was stupid enough to fall for this ruse and to even stay an extra week while they brought in a new program. Today was supposed to be my last day, my manager and i ttalked about it yesterday – we were on the same page. I can't in to work, the DM was there and acted like I was an idiot for not knowing that this wouldn't work, she NEVER told me to do this (she did). I honestly don't think they thought I would leave. I'm proud of myself.
Sorry if this is all over the place but I kind of am right now.
