I used to work with a woman who was married to a psychologist/ therapist (not really sure what his actual credentials were). She started implementing “team building” exercises with the bosses approval. One game we played was this “jellybean game”. You pick a color and it’s kind of supposed to be a personality test. There was some one line half assed praise for everyone, that was it. When I looked it up online, it made me sound like a problem because of the jellybean color I picked! I don’t like citrus candy, I hate licorice, god knows what the white one is going to be, and the green could be lime(yuk) or green apple (yum),but do I take the risk? I picked red. How does this have F$&$-All to do with my personality? It’s a jellybean! I do feel it was actually used against me. What’s with these mind games? When is a jellybean just a jellybean?
