Why is it so hard to find anything but a fast food/restaurant job without any type of certifications or schooling?

I’m only 22. Do I really have to pull myself up by my bootstrap to do anything in this world? I’ll flip burgers until I save up 10k and leave to a 3rd world country at this point. I’m tired of fruitless interviews and filling out applications. Stay in school kids
