My boss is somewhat delusional. He thinks she knows it all and has to know more than his employees. The truth of the matter is that he doesn't know all. Of course, he knows some, but not all. But he acts like he is the king and likes to pound his chest during a meeting. God, it sickens me. He has to put himself in front of his employees.
Well last few months, I voiced my concerns to HR and his manager. Now, I am getting retaliated by voting my concerns to others. Basically, he took away my main responsibility and gave it to someone else. Currently, I am doing the bare minimum at work. At least, I can utilize my spare time to study and get prepared for a new job/employer.
I've worked for good and great bosses in the past. This is by far the worst. No people skills and everything is all about him looking good in front of senior management. He always starts a sentence with “I” never “we”. I did this and I did that. I am sorry in a way that he lives in a delusional world, but there are plenty out there who are just like him.
